# Gamification of the Inhabitants Universe

The grand ambition for Pixel Vault is to turn the [Inhabitants Universe](/pixel-vault/learn/ecosystem/iu.md) into a decentralised gaming platform owned and governed by fans. Along the way, Pixel Vault is gamifying the collector experience and will iteratively release their blockchain-based game.
